自我照顧並不是自私,而是了解自己身心需要,並給予適切的關注與資源。這包括良好的睡眠、均衡的飲食、適當的運動、情緒抒發、人際支持,甚至是透過休閒活動與療癒方式,來滋養身心靈。

從心理學的角度,自我照顧是情緒調節的基礎;從生理層面來看,它則是維持免疫力與生理功能正常運作的關鍵。越來越多研究指出:持續進行自我照顧的人,更能有效對抗壓力,提升幸福感與生活滿意度。
